Presented by Dominic Davis, Manager of the Documentary Fund at Sundance Institute, the masterclass will help you understand how funding decisions are made; from time kinds of African stories that grantmakers are looking to support, how to write a grant application that stands out, and as well as how to pitch for success.

Dominic worked in the Artist Relations Office of the Sundance Film Festival. He went on to program for the American Museum of Natural History, Tribeca Film Festival and Rooftop Films. He has reviewed applications for Catapult Film Fund and Creative Capital and managed the Rooftop Films Filmmakers Fund.

The masterclass will be hosted by Emmy-nominated producer and award-winning director Olúwáṣeun Babalola. She is a business and production professional with a demonstrated history of working in media production, and skilled in travel productions, camera operation, film production, television and web video.
