Africa No Filter's Partnerships Division

Africa No Filter's Partnerships Division (APD) is an intermediary that supports organizations to tell better stories about their impact and the issues they care about in Africa by leveraging the power of storytelling to inform, educate, inspire and change narratives about their priority areas. We offer our expertise in storytelling, narrative change, and access to a vibrant network of creatives across Africa and the Diaspora.

APD operates in three key areas to support our partners. We bring creatives and creativity into the development, corporate, and policy sectors, infusing fresh perspectives into projects; our creative partners transform issues into compelling stories and high-quality content, ensuring that complex ideas are communicated effectively to diverse audiences; and we help shift perceptions and narratives about the issues our partners care about through consistent and strategic messaging.

We use evidence and research to inform our approaches through polling, focus groups and content analysis, ensuring we create projects with measurable impact. APD has worked on projects related to climate, gender, migration, the future of work, agriculture, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and entrepreneurship.

Our partners include Mastercard Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Ford Foundation, Hewlett Foundation, GIZ, Climate Emergency Collaboration Group, and Tony Elumelu Foundation.
