New Africa Nation was founded by Grammy Award-winning musician Fuse ODG (Nana Richard Abiona) and Andre Hackett. The company empowers the African diaspora by promoting African culture and using it as a driving force for economic, political and social change. They also empower musicians with business skills and industry-specific knowledge. New Africa Nation’s grant will support a music residency for singers, rappers and producers in Africa.
“Africa has so much to offer. It can be a better place if we first love ourselves and patronize our culture.”
