Aguil Deng

Aguil Deng is the head of corporate philanthropy Africa at Bloomberg. She has over 18 years of experience in directing multimillion dollars-worth program portfolio, offering an excellent mix of full-time and consulting experiences both at HQ and field office levels, acquired from managing large donor-funded projects, philanthropic programs, and from working for international development key players in the US, Europe, and Africa. She’s a results-driven, senior program manager who combines vision, leadership, and technical expertise in delivering high-impact programs and advocacy campaigns by multilateral, bilateral, government, and private donors including USAID, UN, DfID, EU, the Global Fund, Bloomberg, Gates Foundation, CDC, and the World Bank. 

She also has experience in program monitoring and in developing progress reports and lessons learned for foundations, donors and implementing partners. She has worked in Angola, Botswana, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Haiti, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, South Sudan, Swaziland, Switzerland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and the US.
