Edem Torkornoo is the Founder and Reader-in-Chief at Booksie, a pan-African online children’s bookshop and literacy centre for 3-12-year-olds. 

We’ve partnered with Booksie to produce the stage adaptation of the children's book, Gizo-Gizo, a tale from the Zongo Lagoon. “By bringing these stories to life on the theatrical stage, we are taking significant strides toward achieving our broader mission of ensuring that African children readily encounter representations of themselves in the media they consume daily.”
