Visual Aided Stories (VAS) is a youth-led enterprise of creatives, entrepreneurs and civic innovators using art and storytelling as tools for social change. They use Mural art to celebrate and preserve the history and culture of Pan Africanism, raise awareness on critical social issues and showcase Tanzanian talent. 

“The work we have done in Dar es Salaam for the past two years has given us a lot of knowledge and know-how in mass communication, innovation management and social issues. We have learnt from trial-and-error and trial-and-success patterns. We have proven to create jobs for our fellow youths and manage to create constant added value in the process. We have become the standard playbook for local innovation. This grant significantly allows us to replicate our model in different regions where youth unemployment and involvement in informal sectors prevail.
