Hauwa Shaffii Nuhu is a journalist from Nigeria who works with HumAngle Media where she covers migration and displacement across the northern region of the country, especially the northeast. She’s a 2018 resident of the Ebedi Writers Residency. She’s also a poet and essayist. “I am passionate about shifting stereotypical narratives about Africa because it is dangerous to have only one single narrative out there. I have seen how harmful it can be to Africans and our history.”
