Omose Ighodaro is a journalist and founder of AfroVibes.com. A graduate of Columbia University’s Journalism School, she has reported business and trending news stories for companies like Bloomberg News, and the BBC. 

She launched Afrovibes in 2016 to celebrate culture, connect the African diaspora, and globally spotlight Africa through better stories. Her grant will produce the next AfroVibes Influencers video/print series. “The impact of this grant is that it will help us to create more content - and with our print and video content/projects, we'll be able to continue reshaping the world's perception of the continent while encouraging increased investments in it. My goal is to continue using storytelling to communicate a fresh perspective on Africa through the writing and video content the AfroVibes team and I produce.”
