Journalist and blogger Sal Jalloh is on a mission to showcase the beauty and charming side of Sierra Leone. “This opportunity was extremely important for me as a content creator and as a Journalist as it provided the financial support to pursue important and impactful stories or projects that may not have been possible otherwise. 

Additionally, the grant provided more creative freedom for me as a content creator, and journalist as it often comes with fewer pressures than other funding sources.  This allowed for the exploration of more innovative ways to tell positive stories about the African continent, which may not receive support from traditional media outlets or advertisers.
