community

A home for Africa’s boldest storytellers.

At Africa No Filter, community is more than a network.  It’s a movement. We bring together content creators, journalists, and artists as well as arts, culture and media organisations that are reshaping the continent’s narrative.

These range from a podcast tour around University towns in Kenya, a writing programme to boost African authors through workshops, and a multimedia editorial series profiling young women leaders in Africa.

Narrative Change Convenings

Meet the organisations and platforms we’ve partnered with to deliver robust and timely exchanges, conversations, dialogues and debates about narratives of Africa and how these narratives are built and sustained.

Narrative Change Organisations

Meet the arts, culture and media organisations that have been awarded Africa No Filter Operational Support Grants to support their work in narrative change. They’re based in Africa and the Diaspora.
