Moky Makura

Executive Director

Moky Makura was born in Nigeria, educated in England and has lived in London, Johannesburg and Lagos. She has been a TV presenter, producer, author, publisher and a successful entrepreneur in her own right. She started her media career as the African anchor and field reporter for Carte Blanche. She conceptualized, co-produced and presented a lifestyle TV series for the pan African pay TV channel MNet called Living It, and played a lead role in the groundbreaking Pan-African drama series Jacob’s Cross. Her book Africa’s Greatest Entrepreneurs, with a foreword written by Richard Branson, featured on the top 10 best-selling business books in South Africa when it launched.

Lerato Mogoatlhe

Head of Communications and Digital Marketing

Lerato Mogoatlhe is media professional with more than a decade of experience gained in various roles in leading South African publications, she  has also worked at digital agencies with a portfolio of clients who included Facebook, Google and Girl Effect Mobile. She is the author of the critically acclaimed travel memoir, Vagabond: wandering through Africa on faith.

Victor Mark-Onyegbu

Head of Grants and Community Building

Victor Mark-Onyegbu oversees grantmaking and community programming in both the Arts and Culture, digital content and the Media sectors in Africa. He is an honorary doctor of international relations and a 2024 fellow of the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Centre. He brings close to two decades of experience in supporting ANF’s mandate.

Taziona (Taz) Sitamulaho

Project Manager

With her natural coordination and hands-on approach, Taz has over 15 years of experience in corporate and non-profit making organisations. She has worked as a Project Coordinator at Gates Foundation and Project Administrator at Standard Bank, Southern Africa Trust and ActionAid International. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Zambia, and a certificate in project management from Witwatersrand University.

Abimbola Ogundairo

Advocacy and Campaigns Lead

Abimbola Ogundairo has over eight years of experience in the international development sector. She has successfully supported organizations like ActionAid and Plan International in implementing impactful advocacy strategies. She led the #GirlsGetEqual Campaign in Nigeria, a global movement of youth activists working to promote girls’ rights. Abimbola holds a Master’s degree in International Development from the University of Sheffield and a Bachelor’s degree from the United States International University-Africa in Nairobi.

François Bouda

Francophone Desk and Arts & Culture Program Officer

François Bouda has collaborated with international organisations in Africa, Europe and the United States of America, including the Permanent Mission of la Francophonie to the UN in New York, Art Moves Africa (AMA) and Africalia.  He co-authored and authored several studies, including the Note on the Critical Analysis of Developments in the ACP Group’s Cultural Strategies and has led AMA’s study on cultural mobility and touring in West Africa. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anglophone Studies, a Master’s degree in Arts Management, and a European Diploma in Arts Projects Management from the Marcel Hicter Foundation.

Titilola Mabifa

Chief Operating Officer

Titilola Mabifa is an Africa-focused finance and tax professional with extensive experience in accounting, tax, operations, and organizational leadership acquired across top-tier global firms including BP, Deloitte, PwC and Aker, and Africa-focused firms such as Sahara and Afren. She is a Chartered Accountant and has a degree in Biochemistry.

Cheryl Nyakundi

Project Coordinator

Cheryl Nyakundi supports impactful initiatives by working with creatives and partner organizations. Her background spans government, law firms, and now the nonprofit sector. Having navigated various settings, she is driven by her enthusiasm for positive change in the continent and beyond.

Chido Dandajena

Community Building Lead

Chido Dandajena is a seasoned community strategist with proven skills in member retention, renewals, and a proven track record of increasing member engagement. Chido considers herself a lifelong learner in an evolving industry. She has connected entrepreneurs, c-suite executives, and thought leaders globally for eight years.

Grace Njeri

Partnerships Lead

Grace Njeri is a creative, storyteller, and strategist with over a decade of experience as a journalist and media expert. She builds connections and partnerships while bringing storytelling into projects.

Janine Berridge

Development Director

Janine Berridge is an impact strategist and storyteller passionate about building partnerships that power organizations. With over 15 years of experience across philanthropy, global nonprofits, and academia, she brings training in journalism from Cardiff University and public policy from UCLA. She has led initiatives amplifying women’s and girls’ voices worldwide, most recently as President of The Giving List Women, and earlier as co-founder of UCLA’s Global Lab for Research in Action. Her Gambian heritage and experience working across Africa fuel her commitment to reframing narratives about the continent, which she advances at Africa No Filter through collaborations that expand the organization’s reach and sustainability.
