Omar Hamza – Kenya

Omar Hamza  is a Nairobi-based filmmaker with a passion for telling heartfelt, visually compelling stories that celebrate the African spirit. His award-winning films have screened at festivals around the world, including Cinekid (Netherlands), Zanzibar International Film Festival (Tanzania), and the Silicon Valley African Film Festival (USA).

He is an alumnus of several prestigious international film labs and programs, including the Red Sea Lodge in Saudi Arabia, the Deental Program in France and Senegal (in partnership with Series Mania), and the Some Fine Day Pix Director’s Lab in Kenya.
