Gates Foundation Entertainment and Media Hubs Program.

The Entertainment and Media Hubs Program supports storytellers in Nigeria and Kenya to craft gender positive narratives across film, TV, podcasting, and digital media. With a focus on stories that challenge harmful gender norms, especially those affecting adolescent girls and young women, the program helps creators bring inclusive, impactful ideas to life. Participants complete a two day online course on Equitable Gender Representation in the creative industries. Those who meet the criteria can apply for grants through Africa No Filter, with additional support provided through mentorship, creative labs, and training in Lagos and Nairobi.

Delivered in partnership with CcHUB and the Gates Foundation, the program also contributes to a wider Gender Norms Learning Agenda that seeks to shift societal attitudes through storytelling.
